88.3 WCQR is a Christian radio station with a mission to inspire our community to live passionately for Jesus Christ through the experiences we create daily. We are currently looking for a full-time Community Relations/Marketing Director who has the same passion and will help WCQR design and create experiences that help unite our community and expand the depth and reach of our ministry.
The purpose behind this position is to engage our listeners with ways they can make our community a better place. You would help create initiatives to serve others, share the love of Jesus, and have fun connecting families with one another and our ministry. You wouldn’t work alone in generating ideas; we work as a team to come up with new ideas to engage our listening family. We want someone who understands the value of building real community with our listeners and is passionate about connecting them to the hope of the Gospel of Jesus. Our platform gives us a unique opportunity to bring others together through the experiences we create. It’s not all serious though…creating fun promotions helps build relationships with listeners and gives them something to look forward to.
Skills and Experience:
Organized and detailed-oriented
Excel in written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in planning ahead and developing ideas
Knowledge/experience with social media
Team oriented and at ease working in a group setting
Comfortable building and maintaining relationships with other individuals, organizations, and businesses
2 year of marketing or related experience
