When submitting events for the Community Calendar, please make sure they are either free to the public or that all proceeds support a local charity.

Please submit at least two (2) weeks prior to your event. Events will be posted on the community calendar one (1) week prior to your event.

If you would want your event announced on the air, please contact Randy Pierce, Director of Business Development, for special event packages that will promote your event to our listeners and support the ministry of WCQR.

See history come alive! Battle Re-enactments, Weapons Demos, Military Encampments and MORE during this Tribute to the American Soldier!
Walk through time as you visit the displays of the “Soldiers in the Field” with representations from your Revolutionary War to Modern Day!

See the uniforms, weaponry, encampments and equipment used by the soldiers, hear their stories and see how they lived through reenactors and living historians in period attire!

Military Vehicles, Artifacts, Lectures, Displays and a Veterans Recognition Program in this Salute to the Men and Women who served in the defense of our Nation!

Join us for this FREE event including a Free Luncheon for all Veterans and Active Duty Servicemen and women.

Learn from those who have studied the past so that our future generations will remember those who marched on the path of liberty.
