Foreign Exchange Students

June 17 - August 2

There’s no better way to describe hosting an exchange student than to call it a once-in-a-lifetime experience! How else will you gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of your own culture and community, all while learning about another country without having to hop on a plane!?
When you open your heart and home to an exchange student, you provide them with the opportunity to experience real life in America, not just the version of it they see in movies and on the news. Things that we are used to doing every day are new and exciting for them, and they can’t wait to be a part of every part of your life! In return, they share their culture and country through food, music, celebrations, and conversation, providing you with a better understanding of where they come from. Together, you’re helping make the world a smaller and more welcoming place! Not to mention, it’s a LOT of fun!

If you’re willing to open your heart and home to a kiddo for the upcoming school year please email me at [email protected] and in the subject put “exchange/yes”

Requirements: Pass a background, be at least 25 years old, provide 3 meals a day, provide a real bed and space for the student, be willing to show love and support!

Benefits: Gain a forever new member of the family, learn about other cultures, and open a whole new world you may be missing right in front of you!

One host family says: “My husband and I hosted this past year for the first time and we have found that the two boys we hosted are a huge part of our family and will be forever.  The most amazing thing I have come to realize is we are both Christians (Christ followers/saved by grace) our students are Muslims from Africa ( Nigeria & Morocco) and God allowed us to watch things unfold that I believe we will see their hearts open up to Him one day also.  I had prayed for about 25 years for God to open that door for me to do missions in Africa but never in a million years did I imagine He would bring Africa to my home. God has taken me to several countries to do missions and this time He brought it home for me.”

Please consider being a part of this life-changing opportunity.
