Please submit at least two (2) weeks prior to your event. Events will be posted on the community calendar one (1) week prior to your event.

“Slavery Trail of Tears”

St. Thomas Episcopal Church is hosting a
Service of Lament, Reconciliation, and Commitment
as the final destination on a pilgrimage from Alexandria to Abingdon along the
“Slavery Trail of Tears”
This marks the 400th Anniversary of the first enslaved African people coming to Virginia.
The Reverend Joe Green will speak at this regional service which is FREE and open to ALL, and is part of other events across Virginia and the United States.
Includes musical performances by Ron Short and 4Him.
