The Business Case for Childcare

March 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Twenty years ago, our economic and workforce development groups discussed the growing challenge in our workforce and science showed us that high-quality, accessible, affordable childcare was crucial for strong workforces. Twenty years later we find ourselves having the same conversation and the science hasn’t changed.

Join us for a panel discussion on “The Business Case for Childcare; why quality, accessible, affordable childcare is critical for our region’s success”. We’ll discuss challenges and opportunities, pre- and post-COVID. Guest speakers include Beth Rhinehart, Bristol Chamber of Commerce CEO;
Kathy Waugh, Executive Director YWCA of NETN and SWVA;
Cassandra Caffee Morelock, United Way SWVA Early Childhood Initiative
First Tennessee Development District; and
Samantha Gray, Executive Director of Attachment Parenting International

This event is via Zoom and pre-registration is required. Pre-register at the link below.
