Listener Engagement Director & Afternoon Show Co-Host

A Johnson City native, Amanda grew up in Carter County before heading over to North Carolina to Montreat College to pursue her degree in business and sports management …and playing some college hoops!  It was at Montreat where she got her first taste of working in Christian ministry and is thankful to be returning to a vocation where people are reached and the Gospel is preached.

As Listener Engagement Director, she is excited to create and bring events that point people to Jesus, but also brings listeners together as a community.  As an on-air host with Christian, she is humbled to transition from a WCQR listener to spending her afternoons with you for some laughter, encouragement, fun, and just sharing life together.

She loves her church, cooking, and home improvement shows, chocolate, working out…OK, she doesn’t love working out, but she loves the fact that she can eat more chocolate when she does! Above all, she loves her compassionate husband Brooks and her night-and-day kiddos, Grace and Jackson. Being a mom is Amanda’s greatest reward.
