Community Focus Host

I joined the staff of WCQR in February 2001 and have worked just about every air shift imaginable. Several years ago, I took on the task of handling the Community Focus interviews which air every Saturday morning. I grew to love meeting the awesome folks who are passionate about making a difference in the community.I was born and raised in the hills of East Tennessee with Big Orange blood coursing through my veins. I cheer on the University of Tennessee Volunteers every chance I get no matter what sport we’re talking about.

Many folks may not know this, but I’m a full time pastor of the Glenwood campus of Indian Springs Baptist Church, in Kingsport, TN. I have a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. (Move over, Dr. Phil!) I have had the pleasure of serving on many overseas missions in Honduras, Brazil, Peru, Nicaragua, Sudan and Bangladesh.

Tiger also serves as pastor for WCQR.
