Most of the time, parenting is great fun. You know you are doing a good job. But there are times when things get a little tricky. Like when your toddler won’t eat her dinner, or your six year old won’t pick up his toys. Maybe your child never seems to listen. If only someone could give you some ideas to make those times easier!
Join us for free virtual parenting classes! They’re informal presentations, a little like a public forum. The seminars last around 90 minutes. There is time at the end for your questions, but you won’t have to speak up if you don’t want to. It’s your choice. There’s also no homework and no follow up. It is designed to be a brief introduction to the Triple P strategies. But you will definitely get some great ideas to take home and try out with your family! You can choose to do one – or all – of them. They deal with the most common parenting issues we all face.
All online seminars are 7pm-8:30pm
January 25th – the power of positive parenting
February 22nd – raising confident, competent, children
March 29th – raising competent teenagers
April 26th – raising resilient children
May 24th – raising responsible teenagers
June 28th – getting teenagers connected
These seminars will be led by Jilian Reece. Reece has been offering Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) seminars since 2017, has an extensive background in providing support to families during the perinatal period through parenting adolescents and is the mother to four children ranging from toddler to tween. She is a homeschool mom, navigating working mom life with educating her children and brings her personal experience alongside her extensive training in supporting parents. Reece brings her own personal stories of adversity and triumph in parenting and life, making her relatable and encouraging families that their desired results are achievable. She is an advocate for strengths-based parenting, positive parenting and viewing every life through a trauma-informed lens.
