Roads Closed in East TN Due to Flooding

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, crews continue to work around the clock to monitor routes for flooding and potential concerns.

As of Sunday, here are the latest road conditions reported by TDOT by county:

Greene County:

  • St Rt 340 between Neil and Turner (5.04 – 7.65) One Lane traffic due to slide
  • St Rt 348 closed at LM 1.0 and 10.5 due to high water

Hawkins County:

  • St Rt 113 at Melinda Ferry Road (3.78 MM) closed due to flooding
  • St Rt 70 Cave Springs Road to Clinch Valley Rd (15.1 -18.3MM) closed due to slide
  • St Rt 66 New Life Road to Clinch Valley Road (23.32 – 26.25) close at LM 24 due to slide

Johnson County:

  • St Rt 167 high water from mm 2-8, road closed. Waiting on daylight to access damage to roadway
  • St Rt 67 high water in numerous places no closures
  • St Rt 91 high water in numerous places no closures

Sullivan County:

  • High water various location on various routes, no closures

Washington County:

  • St Rt 353 at Hall Road (11.65 MM) closed due to flooding
  • St Rt 67 at Cherokee Elementary School (7.28 MM) closed due to flooding
  • St Rt 67 at LM 1.5 high water no closure
  • St Rt 81 Lm 0 high water no closure
