Super Tuesday – Information on Voting in Presidential Primary in Tennessee

When can I vote?

Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. Check your polling place and hours in the GoVoteTN app.

Each county determines when the polls open in their county. View a list of poll opening times by county. All polls in Tennessee close at 8:00 p.m. EST / 7:00 p.m. CST.

Early voting was from Wednesday, February 12, to Tuesday, February 25.

What ID is required when voting?

Voters need to bring valid photo identification to the polls. A Tennessee driver license or photo ID issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Tennessee state government or the federal government are acceptable even if they are expired. College student IDs are not acceptable.
