Even when you can’t make house calls due to social distancing, you can still video chat– and Santa is taking the time to check in on his charges.
Santa Chuck, who also goes by the name Charles Plant, has been working for 8 years making holiday season appearances for photo sessions, home visits and Ronald McDonald Houses.
This week, he decided that stressful times call for special measures, and posted on Facebook that he was available to make free video visits to cooped-up kids.
On Sunday, he called seven households, whereupon kids were shocked before asking his status on making toys (constant) and where the elves were (busy).
He has more calls set up this week.
“Be good and don’t forget to wash your hands,” he counseled at the end of the calls.
