04 Feb Volunteers needed for Lake Clean Up
As part of the Cherokee National Forest River Cleanup, Watauga Lake will be the focus on Saturday, February 6, 2021. The cleanup will begin at 10 a.m.
Keep Carter County Beautiful and Keep Jonesborough Beautiful are pitching in to help.
Other community members can contribute as well, as they ride a 25-foot work boat helping to clean the shoreline.
Volunteers will meet at the Rat Branch Boat Ramp in Hampton.
Another cleanup will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 on South Holston Lake.
