Officials with Publix said the new store in Johnson City is now hiring.
According to store officials, they are hiring “in all departments including bakery, customer service, deli, grocery, meat, seafood, and produce.”
The store is under construction at 509 N. State of Franklin Road.
Publix officials told News Channel 11 the Johnson City store should be open before the end of 2021.
Jobs range from part-time to full-time and range from $10 to $18 per hour, according to Publix officials.

The Tennessee Department of Corrections and the Department of Labor and Workforce is hosting a second chance job fair on Friday, Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The virtual job fair is for Tennesseans with a criminal record who are looking for employment. Those participating will be able to network and interview with local and regional companies.
They will also have the opportunity to work with career coaches and interview experts.
Tennessee Department of Corrections spokesperson Robert Reburn says may be offered immediate opportunities.
