07 Apr Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Starts Assistance Program
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is starting a program Monday that serves those who are at high risk for getting sick.
Individuals can call either 423-279-6064 or 423-279-7506 to request the pickup and delivery of essential items.
An officer will go to the home in need, pick up money and a list that’s been left on the porch, go out and buy the needed items, like groceries or prescriptions, and then return them back to the porch of the person in need.
