13 May The Field School is Offering a FREE Farmer Training Program
The Field School is beginning a farmer training program, and is now offering online courses.
It’s hosted by the Appalachian RC&D Council.
The school is offering workshops on small scale produce and livestock production.
The classes will be on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, starting this month and running through August.
The workshops are free, but registration is required.

The Field School normally offers the workshops as on-farm tours, but has moved them online.
This so new farmers can still learn while restrictions on social gatherings are in place.
The first class is on May 14th.
